Description du créateur

A renowned kiln that continues the tradition of the Imari ware, known for producing the highest-quality offerings for the Imperial family and feudal lords since the early Edo period. This kiln excels in a technique known as "sometsuke," where blue underglaze is used to outline patterns, and then intricate coloring is applied in various hues such as red, green, and yellow. Each color requires a separate firing in the kiln, and the entire process can take anywhere from six months to several years to complete, making it one of the most challenging ceramic techniques.

Their exceptional skill and unwavering commitment to artistic excellence continue to be passed down to the present day. These masterpieces have been refined through the shifting tides of history, representing the pinnacle of craftsmanship.
