Sale price¥23,400

A Highly Popular Guinomi (Sake Cup)
This guinomi (sake cup) is part of the best-selling Galaxy Series, representing JTOPIA. It portrays countless nebulae that brilliantly shine in the vast cosmos on its surface. Please appreciate the profound beauty of the endless and romantic void of space, depicted on this vessel.

Recipient of the Japan Fine Arts Exhibition Special Selection
Shin'emon, a renowned master in the field of ceramics, achieved the prestigious Japan Fine Arts Exhibition Special Selection at Japan's largest art exhibition. This work is a special limited edition from JTOPIA, developed from the Yohen Yuteki Tenmoku, treasured by Oda Nobunaga and Toyotomi Hideyoshi. The "Galaxy Glaze" is a unique technique born in the pursuit of advancing the Yohen Yuteki Tenmoku, a technique that is highly challenging, with most pieces being discarded during each kiln firing.

A Lifetime Companion for Your Sake
These guinomi cups are crafted using domestically sourced premium natural porcelain stone. Fired at a scorching temperature of 1300 degrees Celsius, Arita ware guinomi cups offer a silky touch, durability, and non-absorbency, making them easy to clean. There is no earthy aroma commonly associated with ceramics, allowing you to fully savor the fragrance of your sake. They possess excellent heat retention and cold resistance, and their palm-sized design makes them suitable for both admiring their aesthetic appeal and practical use.

The Radiance of Genuine Gold Overglaze
This product employs a technique called "gold lacquer rim," where the rim (the part where the mouth touches) is adorned with genuine gold. The unique design of this piece, with its dazzling gold rim surrounding the galaxy-colored vessel inspired by the countless star clusters that shine in the night sky, is truly exceptional and beautiful, setting it apart from other products.

One-of-a-Kind Artistry
Shin'emon is renowned as a master of kiln transformation techniques. The glaze kiln he independently developed undergoes chemical reactions within the kiln, creating patterns inspired by nature. You can cherish this piece as a one-of-a-kind work of art.

An Exclusive Gift
This guinomi comes with a prestigious, marked paulownia wood box. It is highly recommended as a luxury gift, especially for those who appreciate fine sake, and makes a perfect gift for cherished family members, mentors, friends, or superiors. It is also an ideal companion for contemplative enjoyment or evening sake sipping.
