Master Shinuemon, who received the prestigious Nitten Tokusen (Special Selection) award at Japan's largest art exhibition, the Nitten, is the creator of this special limited edition piece to commemorate his achievement. The Galaxy glaze is a unique technique that evolved from the yohen oil droplet tenmoku, which was highly valued by historical figures such as Nobunaga and Hideyoshi.
