Hand-Pinched, Unusually for the Kiln
Among the works of Shinemon Kiln this is an unusual hand-pinched piece, and from the solid, weighty air of the work one feels the power of nature’s spirit.

Mist, and a Full Moon Within
The work uses a matt technique to express the mist of a sea of clouds. In the well of the bowl there is also a bold chadamari, the hollow where the tea gathers, which gives a sense of the mystery of a full moon.

The Summation of His Bowls
